How do I know if I’m eligible?
Your family is eligible if you live in Nassau or Suffolk county and have a child under age 5.
Does your team speak anything other than English?
Our bilingual team is fluent in Spanish, Haitian Creole, and English, and we accommodate families speaking other languages through a virtual interpretation service.
I don’t have much time to go to in-person meetings. Is that a problem?
No. Our services are virtual for your convenience! Our team is in contact with you by phone and text.
Is there a cost to use Help Me Grow services?
No! Help Me Grow Long Island’s services are free, do not go through insurance and the community resources we share are also at no cost.
Am I able to contact Help Me Grow Long Island even if I’m not sure whether my child needs extra support?
Yes! Our families often reach out to discuss development even when they don’t have a specific concern. We are here to provide resources and education from pregnancy through age 5, regardless of diagnosis or presence of a specific concern.
